Publication Ethics & Integrity Policy
At Digital Evolution Journal, we are deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in scholarly publishing. Our ethical guidelines are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and respect for all parties involved in the publication process. These guidelines are based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Authorship and Originality
Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere. All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research should be listed as co-authors.
Originality
Manuscripts must be the original work of the authors.
Plagiarism
We use advanced plagiarism detection tools to screen all submissions. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected.
Data Integrity
Authors must present accurate data. Fabrication or falsification is a serious breach of academic ethics.
Duplicate Submission
Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior.
Author's Responsibilities
Reporting Standards
Authors of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance.
Hazards and Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might influence the results.
Peer Reviewer Responsibilities
Peer reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our publications. We expect our reviewers to be objective, constructive, and timely.
Confidentiality
Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents.
Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively, with no personal criticism of the authors.
Conflict of Interest
Reviewers should disclose conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when appropriate.
Promptness
Referees who feel unqualified or cannot complete the review on time should immediately notify the editor.
Editorial Responsibilities
Fair Play
Editors evaluate manuscripts without regard to race, gender, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
Confidentiality
Editorial staff must not disclose information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than authors and assigned reviewers.
Corrections and Retractions
We are committed to correcting errors in published work and will issue corrections or retractions as needed to maintain the integrity of the academic record. Authors who discover a significant error in their own published work have an obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher.
